    My main thought about bitcoin is, for bitcoin to have value you always have to convert it to a currency to give it value. It only has value because the market is honouring that value at the moment.

    The feds were saying unemployment was good one minute and the next it was going up. Sounds like they are going to use these numbers as their leverage to lower interest rates when it’s a “convenient” time to. Thanks for the update Ben. Hope all is well up your way. 😊

    Now let's do some math for the average Joe. What's 4% of 15 bucks a hour. It's nothing, literally does not change anything for the normal working person in the US. It isn't even keeping up with real inflation which is closer to 100% than 9%

    Yes, they have raised interest rates to slow down the economy and reduce inflation. They can lower the rates back to zero and create bubbles at anytime. But we need to find reality, they have created 50% of all money in the last 10 years so we need to find out where reality is. That's what's happening and it's a good thing, when inflation starts to come down and it is they will lower rates. The problem we keep having is people keep panicking at every market term and stressing out our government to create new free money, which only helps small groups for a year or two then ends up creating a bigger wedge between the have and the have nots. Let the markets work, and force people to pay off debt. Interest rates at zero for 20 years is stupid and not real. Keep interest rates high and burn off inflation and lower them early enough before a collapse and this is exactly what they are doing. Like this guy say we have been in a bull market since 2008, the markets are looking for reality. "Let them find it."

    Question, Ben. I'm looking at TLT in TradingView (for June 5th). I'm looking at the yearly chart. My view shows me that it is above all four moving averages around 93.00. Those dots on the right that is for the five year moving averages, correct? When I look at the five year, I see they are all below the moving averages. We're looking at one or five year?

    • @Reppondinvestments
      @Reppondinvestments 9 днів тому

      Correct. As of today (or June 5), TLT is ABOVE all 4 moving averages. However, I said on the video that all charts are as of last Friday, May 31, If you run the charts as of that day, you will see that it is BELOW all four. However, it has had a sharp move upward this week - so much so that it is now ABOVE all four. I am referring to a daily chart using the 20, 50, 100 and 200 day MA.

    As I listen to the gentleman speak regarding the economy, the thing that he fails to state is that all of the following events have been planned for years by the powers that be. We are now witnessing the greatest transformation of wealth in human history. This system was unsustainable from the beginning of the formation of the Fed. The American people gave away their sovereignty when they allow a private bank the power to create money out of thin air and charge the people interest of fiat money. The markets have been overvalued, and there hasn't been price discovery in the markets for many years. Banks are failing companies are laying off, and we can't see the handwriting on the wall. Folks the signs are all there, and history is about to repeat itself on a scale never seen before in our lifetime. There will be social unrest all across this country soon because people will do whatever it takes to survive.

    I have decided to no longer buy new vehicles because of cost and several other factors. As a result I have saved a small fortune and avoided debt. I no longer go to dealerships for second hand cars as you will be ripped off. Before you hit the private market, which is huge, you must do your homework. UA-cam car reviews are the key to acquire the knowledge before you buy. Watch every review on the car you have chosen then do the same with the other competitors as you must, repeat must, make comparisons. Ask your friends and relatives only if they know cars. Ask car mechanics what to avoid as they know the problem cars. Once you have done these basic things, start your search on the internet for your carefully considered car. You will only do well if you have done your homework and willing to search far and wide. For those that want to be environmentally conscious, the greenest vehicle you can buy is not an electric car, it is a second hand car, as it already exists, whereas a new vehicle needs lots of CO2 to be manufactured.

    Perpetuating this coming crisis is the extreme lack of public transportation infrastructure investments, in the US. Which was planned to make America a car culture. Where I live (Montreal), we have a very good public transportation system. (Metro subway, bus, REM) And with real-time scheduling information. (Being a senior citizen, it's free!) I don't drive a car anymore!
